Sunday's Story:

Gordon's Story

"My name is Sunday Achaye and I am 19 years old. I am not yet married. I recently sat for my Ugandan Certificate of Education and I am waiting for the results, which will come out in February 2014. The community of Oloyokampala fetches water from the stream. We travel five kilometers to fetch water, and the elderly people in the community cannot reach the water point easily.

It is with great pleasure that I thank God for using the donor and the drilling crew to help provide my community with clean water. I am full of happiness and joy. I have seen the love of God shown to my community through the drilling of this borehole. May God bless the donor."

Olayo's Story:

Betty's Story

"My name is Olayo Betty and I am 46 years old. I am married and God has blessed me with children who are grown and living in Oloyokampala. In Oloyokampala, water is a big problem. We fetch water from a distant borehole that is five kilometers away. I fetch one 20-liter jerry can each day. Because of how far away this borehole is, many of the people in this village have resorted to drinking stream water, which has contributed to many people falling sick because it is contaminated with germs.

I am happy and I thank the donor who gave my community clean water. May God bless him/her in order to support other communities that still do not have clean water. I also thank Water Harvest International for its lovely work. I will not forget Water Harvest International – God bless you all."
