WHI Team Trips
January 2010 - WHI sent a team of nine Americans and one Ugandan to our compound in Kajo Keji County, South Sudan for a 10 day fact-finding and evaluation trip. The team, led by three members of the Radler Foundation, are reviewing operational capabilities of the WHI Sudan crew as it relates to our Sanitation Training program, site selection, and the overall drilling process. The team also spent time in Terekaka, South Sudan where they joined in the festivities for the grand opening of the newest Harvesters Reaching the Nations orphanage. The new facility, funded in part by the Radler Foundation, was under construction for 18 months prior to the launch in January 2010. Several members of the team are also spending time researching and evaluating the launch of a new mobile medical project that will be based in South Sudan and also sponsored by the Radler Foundation.
May 2010 - In May of 2010 members of the Radler Foundation, along with 25+ other team members from around the US will be joining e3 Partners on a mission trip to Terekaka, South Sudan. This trip will focus on church planting, rural veterinary assistance, water well drilling, and medical assistance. The WHI Sudan crew will be transporting the drilling rig and other necessary equipment to Terekaka in order to drill 2 - 3 new boreholes in the region.

December 2009 - Due to high demand and very successful operations to date, WHI will begin reviewing the acquisition of a second drilling rig for the South Sudan drilling operation. This rig will cover new territory as WHI seeks to expand its area of operation and bring clean water to the most unreached villages and communities.

January 2010 - The WHI Texas team is researching and evaluating the order of another 150 hand pumps for the South Sudan drilling operation. Multiple offers from Indian pump manufactureres are being reviewed prior to selection.
